Class 1: Introduction

1 - Watch the following videos:

• How to Prepare to Read a Book
• How to Ask Great Questions
• Why You Should Write While You Read

2 - Read the following articles:

• "Getting the book through you" from your Principles of Liberty CD (if you don't have this, ask Sis. Cloward for a copy of the article)
• "I have a Question" Ensign 1979

3 - Read the following scriptures:

• Article of Faith 13
• Doctrine & Covenants 88:118

4 - Start a new commonplace book for this class.  You will want all your notes and thoughts in one place.

5 - Take notes on the videos in your commonplace book.

6 - Print and mark the articles, we will be discussing the videos and articles in class
